“Baby Blessings from the Word of God”

“Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are children born in one’s youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their opponents in court.” Psalm 127: 3-5

We know that Ephesians 6 teaches us that the Word of God is our sword in God’s armour. To that end, we have compiled a list of blessings to pray over your child, each backed by Scripture. This collection is designed to guide you in speaking love, protection, and wisdom over your unborn, newborn, or growing child. On the back of each card is a prayer prompt and a space for notes. We encourage you to ask the Lord what these blessings will look like for you and your “arrow” in the seasons to come.

Our prayer is that as you pray over your womb, your baby, your child, the Lord will cement these verses in their heart and reveal His heart for your child to you.

As Proverbs 22:6 says:

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

It is our hope that these little cards and posters will be springboards for prayer, platforms for blessings, and reminders of the hope we have in Christ.
